Week 6: Using My Henna Skills for a Real Event

In nearly 2-3 weeks, Cultural Day at the school will be coming up. Henna is part of Pakistani culture, therefore, I will have a stall together with Raghad for cultural day. This will be the perfect oppurtunity to apply my henna skills to a real event. This is another reason why I have been focusing on improving my speed at henna. Last year, we had also held a henna stall for cultural day at the school, however, at the time, my speed at henna was still quite slow, therefore, the lines became too long and many people ended up not getting their henna done. Now my speed at applying henna has improved drastically which will help me on Cultural Day. Until Cultural Day, I will be creating posters for advertisement and have to do other preperations as well. Due to my experience from last year, I will try my best to make improvements based on the flaws our stall had last year. Professional henna artists also open henna stalls frequently, so by creating a stall I will be able to get experience for if I ever wanted to take henna up professionally. In conclusion, I will be able to showcase my henna skills through a real event.
